Trevor Sinclair scored a cracker one Boxing Day (who spotted that?) at home to Charlton which we ended up winning 5-0. He got a beautful acrobatic goal the followjng Boxing Day at home to Derby. Someone else mentioned Marc Keller's efforty againt Derby in '98, that was a beaut. And continuing the 'great WHU goals against Derby' theme, Paolo got a stunner agaisnt them circa 1999 where he cut it inside the defender on the edge of the box (by the by-line) and curled a screamer in off the bar from the same postion. Often over-looked because of 'that' goal.
Stan Lazaridis away at Newcastle in 1998 anyone? Smashed it in from all of 30 yards, won us the match too. Sadly Valencia's goal, whilst it will live long in our memories, will be forgotten by the majority in a short while as it will not get the deserved airplay that some of the bigger names get.
